I want to buy a chest protector riding jacket, how do I kno what type or brand is best?

iv been jumping for 5 years and has never I thought to buy one until now ... im training my horse to jump and hes kinda crazy, but I love it. but I think I should get a type or brand of a chest protector, to horse or vest is recommended?

Tipperary is ideal for jumping and a lot of riders XC used / still use, but a new study has shown that Charles Owen are more protective. Tipperary protectors of the body are more flexible, but therefore the Charles Owen is more protective. Unless you plan to make novices and Tipperary Prelim Competition should be very good:) Well I hope this helps and good luck:]
