Line Hose
'79 Benz 300D, I put a long line of fuel hose on my pre-filter, next to the bomb?
I want to replace this small Foot of the fuel hose going to the fuel pump, pre-filter, with a much longer period. Is this a pipe causes more problems? Why is short tube so there?
All diesel engines are not carbon injection. Cars and trucks need a quantity of diesel fuel at a pressure high to provide good combustion of diesel fuel under a high compression ratio. Some vehicles and lines of trucks use fuel steel to minimize the risk of leakage from the fuel lines, rubber in great efforts to reduce evaporation and expansion. Try using a hose more pre-filter and fuel pump. Remove all air leakage points.
