What does "NIB" Black Sabbath stand for?
NIB? Nothing? A fun way? If it means something, I am assuming that refers to Satan because of the lyrics ... sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not a fan of Saturday. Just a fan.
NIB means nothing. That simply refers to a nickname that Ozzy gave Bill Ward (Nibby). Back before starting their first album, Ozzy has a beard that looked like a pen Ward (pen), so just put some points on behalf of NIB of the blue people began to call the Nativity in Black, which actually has nothing to do with the name. There is even a tribute band Black Sabbath Nativity in Black nominated and two albums of cover artists also called the Nativity in Black.
