Alum Alloy
Are cast alum alloy wheels is generally stronger than steel?
I have an inclination of steel wheel hit a pothole. Only could replace the wheel, but I want to do again after the slump that comes, I'm considering buying replacements alum alloy four (CAST, not false, because they are too expensive). Given that my first concern is the strength of the wheel, not looking at it is the right decision? JimKata, why take a wheel casting with a hole better than others?
As for the factors of force, if you bend a steel wheel with a hole, a wheel would probably cracked. Report a pot hole and make sure it is fixed. I replaced the steel wheel (if you're after onset) and submit an invoice to your department County local roads (which may or may not make people laugh, and may or may not recover his money, but worth a shot ...)
