Can scratches on alloy wheels be polished with any tool of power?
Given a question like this, but the best answer suggested to use power tools and other responses are not very useful. I have no power tools, So I'm looking for an option that can be done by hand. Not a deep scratch, it is too close to the brakes.
SURE. YES. Almost anything can be done by the machine, which can be done manually, only take longer. If the area is rubbed with wet sand and dry (with a lot of water), you will be able to remove the scratch. Start with a piece of wet paper 240grit zero gradually working dry 2000grit.Deep grain may need a more aggressive early, perhaps the presentation. then polish with a metal polish regularly. Liquid Reflections Ferro is the best I've found.
